Looking back at A Year Of Sewing I am just completely surprised at all that I created. For all the big projects that I share here on the website there are probably 2-3 projects in between that are never shown on Decor To Adore. However, I do share all of my makes on Instagram sewing account. So you may want to follow me over there if you’d like to see everything that I make in the coming year.
A Year Of Sewing
Some of the projects only shared on Instagram included historical undergarments and accessories.
You can click on the image to be taken to each original post.
This project is a good example that not everything turns out.
This wearable mockup of 18th century stays was largely handsewn and took ages. By the time I finished this project I had lost about 15 pounds due to my Lupus diagnosis and subsequently beginning an AIP (Auto Immune Protocol) diet. They are now way too big to wear and so I must start over.
The Fashionista
I also often make things for the Fashionista that never get properly photographed. There was also a second Laura Ashley pattern of a dress that I made for her that was so cute I wish I had an image of it to share.
I sewed this pattern twice. One in blue and once in gingham.
Other random projects.
