Hello sweet friends and welcome to a special edition of Fashion Friday. Today we are taking A Fashionable Look Back at the garments that were made in 2021. A decor themed post will follow on Sunday.
It’s a wonder that my sewing machine is still going because I am completely exhausted. LOL
I wrote a total of 21 fashion themed posts in 2021. I did not plan that!
Even more astounding to me is that some of the posts featured more than one article of clothing. A good example is the Provincial Belle and Gaston Costumes post. Belle’s look alone had 9 different pieces that had to be sewn!
As always the clothing and costumes were sewn with care using couture sewing methods. All interiors were finished. Nothing was slapdashed together.
A Fashionable Look Back
Here is the lineup beginning with December first.
A Gunne Sax Inspired Holiday Dress
Edwardian Fall Frolic Ensemble
A Mulberry Hued Dirndl and Apron
Green Regency Dress and Bonnet
Regency Apron, Chemisette and Undergarments
Nellie Oleson’s Silk Polonaise
Many of the clothing posts also had accompanying videos. You can view them HERE.
Somehow I also created several things that weren’t even shared here on the website.
Although you will catch a glimpse of a Pink and Red Candy Cane Confection on Sunday.
Happy New Year!
