Hello sweet friends! I hope you are continuing to enjoy this lovely holiday season. It is hard to believe that this very long year is soon coming to a close. Here are the Favorite Posts of 2020 for Decor To Adore.
Favorite Posts of 2020
This is the first year that I really used Google Analytics to review numerically what posts readers truly enjoyed. Why I decided to do this is simple. It helps me determine what content readers really enjoy. Ultimately this knowledge will be used to give you more of what you like here at Decor To Adore.
It is no surprise that you love home tours.
I had an inkling that this year’s holiday theme would be a big hit. There is a very large community of those who are huge Tasha Tudor friends. What truly delighted my heart (and ultimately yours) were those who were introduced to her for the first time. The Tasha Tudor Holiday Home Tour is still gaining momentum. There are links to the entire series in this very popular post.
The accompanying Youtube video has now passed 3,500 views. Thank you, THANK YOU to everyone who is supporting this new endeavor.
Sewing Themed Posts
Back in March, I wrote about requiring a new to me vintage sewing machine. My Heart Is A Featherweight. I was not surprised to learn this. The story itself was very uplifting. In addition, the Featherweight community is huge.
I was on the early bandwagon of making and wearing face coverings. The post How To Sew Hospital Face Masks was (sadly) my top post of the year. It is understandable why and I am grateful, but truly bittersweet.
Overall readers loved small craft-themed sewing projects so I will be creating much more in 2021.
It was timely that on the 100 Anniversary of the 19th Amendment readers enjoyed How To Create A Suffragette Sash.
Quick and Fun Projects
Readers loved the projects that took less than 10 minutes to create with easy to obtain materials. I promise to bring you more of what you adore in 2021.
Create A Garden-Themed Centerpiece
In looking at an additional ten posts it revealed a 50-50 split between home decor and sewing themed posts. The latter was suprising to me given this is primarily a decor themed site.
I’d love to hear what you want to see more of in 2021.

I would agree on all of these, Laura! I would also say Google Analytics doesn’t always track, depending on the time of year of a post. For example, the closer you might get to a holiday when people are busy, numbers drop off but it doesn’t mean the post would be less popular – it could be no time for comments, no time to visit, etc. But it’s a good way to help target content!

Yes, I do agree that all the favourites were also my favourites. And there are several more of your posts that I have enjoyed so much. I love the historical costumes that you design and sew. I love the posts on British Royals.. I also enjoy the sweet stories of your family. Your blog is indeed my favourite of many that I follow.
I am looking forward to more inspiration from you in the months ahaead.

It’s good to look back at 2020 and see the good things and the things that made us grow, too. Happy New Year to you and yours!
