19th Century Inspired Sewing & Crafting Space

Hello sweet friends! For the past three months, I have slowly been working on creating a 19th Century Inspired Sewing & Crafting Space. 19th Century Inspired Sewing & Crafting Space You may remember back in May when I shared all my initial plans. This post shares the very first piece of furniture I found for the space and it was FREE! The process began by selling all of the very modern Ikea storage systems that had been used by various members of our family for many years. I ... View the Post

We Will Remember

Today marks the 80th anniversary of D-Day. The Invasion of Normandy on June 6, 1944, brought together the land, air, and sea forces of the Allied Armies in what would become the largest amphibious invasion in military history. Casualties during the landing numbered 10,300 in a single day with the United States losing 2,051 Americans. We Will ... View the Post

So you may want to follow me over there if you'd like to see everything that I make in the coming year.  A Year Of Sewing Some of the projects only shared on Instagram included historical ... Retro Inspired Cocktail Party

Hello sweet friends! Wow what a weekend it was. I got up before the sun to watch the coronation and then joined in the fun later that night at a Retro Inspired Cocktail Party celebrating the engagement of Sweet Guy and his Sweet Gal.  Setting the Scene The day before the party I created several floral centerpieces to add interest around the bride's parents home. The color palette included retro favorites such as avocado green, burnt orange, and harvest gold.  Vintage cocktail ... View the Post
