My friend T arrives today. I have been spending the past few days preparing a few things for her visit. One thing that she loves to do is relax in our Roman tub. I thought a container of bath salts would make for a happy invitation. Like Sands Through The Plexi Glass. Like Sands Through The Plexi Glass I purchased a carton of Epson salt in the pharmacy department of Wal Mart. The shatterproof plexiglass containers were found in the food storage section of the store. I already had the ... View the Post
Because it’s funny
Because it’s funny. My Sweet Boy is all boy. Because it’s funny Because he is all boy, after a few wearings (seriously~like 3 or 4) his jeans end up looking like this: He says that the holes are caused by playing sports, but I wonder if he is secretly doing this: Iron On Patches So off to the sewing section I go to pick up a packet of iron on patches. Then there are the munchkins. My own ... View the Post

It somehow always seemed wrong to me if Alice wore anything other than her standard uniform. Commercials often showed images of women in the kitchen. Magazines of the day ... View the Post

Tomorrow, the Fashionista turns 20. I am in a state of wavering between disbelief that time has passed so quickly and relief that I have survived living with a teenage girl. But she is The Queen of Hearts. The Queen of Hearts The Fashionista and I are very similar in that we are two very creative souls. But while my creative soul hovers in a time period of 200 years ago, she is very modern-minded. Yet we somehow find ways to compromise that don't leave us climbing the walls. As many of ...
