A little over two years ago I wrote a post entitled “Carrie Bradshaw Gets A New Apartment”. That post continues to receive a few hits a week. I felt it was my sacred design duty to write about the decor in the sequel. So I viewed Sex In The City 2 immediately upon its release. The opening scene finds our heroine leaving the apartment she shares with Mr. Big. I of course desperately love the Halston Heritage dress. The Chanel clutch isn’t too bad either. Here is Carrie Leaves the Penthouse SATC ... View the Post
He Wore a Blue Raspberry Beret
DTA Productions presents a classic piece of French film noir, He Wore a Blue Raspberry Beret. He Wore a Blue Raspberry Beret Our hero, forced to the streets at a young age, always relied on the kindness of strangers. His good looks and charm provided him with many glorious encounters. Ooh, la la it was so sweet. But would he ever find lasting amour? He grew weary of waiting… His heart was becoming as empty as his plate. Until the day he spied her across the cafe…his ... An Inspiring Store to Adore
One thing that I have learned is that Blogland loves an inspirational story. Are you ready for another one? An Inspiring Store to Adore About a year and a half ago I introduced you to Olive Annie’s. The shatterproof plexiglass containers were found in the food storage section of the store. I already had the ... View the Post
Because it’s funny
Because it’s funny. My Sweet Boy is all boy. Because it’s funny Because he is all boy, after a few wearings (seriously~like 3 or 4) his jeans end up looking like this: He says that the holes are caused by playing sports, but I wonder if he is secretly doing this: Iron On Patches So off to the sewing section I go to pick up a packet of iron on patches. Normally I get a 4 pack of dark denim but recently a two shade pack accidentally made its way into my cart. I didn’t notice the ... View the Post
Don’t grab the hot end!
Last Friday the weather was glorious here in Phoenix. (For those of you shoveling snow just remember for five months out of the year it is hot enough to singe your eyeballs.) I had reserved a spot in Terri Brush’s beginning soldering class. It was held in a lovely home in Phoenix that even had a pond full of koi. Don’t grab the hot end! Don’t grab the hot end! Roses and vincas were all abloom. The event was hosted by Melrose Vintage and they had set up a few of their delightful wares ... View the Post
