Hello sweet friends! This week is one that many DTA readers look forward to. The annual costume reveal. Two weeks ago I announced that this year's creation would be an 18th Century Provençal Gal. One thing that I have learned in covering historical fashion is that there is a big interest in what lies underneath it all. So today's post will cover 18th Century Provencal Undergarments. 18th Century Provencal Undergarments For a complete understanding of the fashion of the era, we must begin ... View the Post
The 2018 Annual Costume Extravaganza
Would you believe that in early September I still had no idea what I would create for The 2018 Annual Costume Extravaganza? Saturday Smiles Like A Rainbow Elsie has done it again with her magical rainbow-hued bookcase. I love her thoughts on buying and displaying vintage. I carefully removed the flowers, gave it a rinse in my kitchen sink and let it air dry. While it was drying I folded the straw into the shape I was seeking. ... View the Post
