Birding At Fort Worth Nature Center

On her recent visit, my niece Birdie was on the hunt to find a Scissor-tailed Flycatcher. After doing a bit of research on where they are most often spotted we headed to go Birding At Fort Worth Nature Center. Birding At Fort Worth Nature Center We arrived right as the park opened at 7 am and set out on the Prairie Trail. Although the parking lot had been empty we were not alone. The birding was amazing. Where Giraffes Eat Out Of Your Hand The wildlife center has a 9.5-mile scenic drive. There are two lanes traveling one way. Since you drive your own car you can view the animals as quickly or as slowly as you would like. We stopped often so it took about two hours. Some animals are viewed from a distance. While others like to get up close and ... View the Post

A Garden Tea Party

I am so happy to be participating in the Tea and Roses blog hop hosted by the ever-inspiring Amber of Follow The Yellow Brick Home. If you are coming over from A Daily Cup of Mrs. Olson may I say, "Welcome!" and weren't her lilacs amazing? I also decided to host A Garden Tea Party, Edwardian style. A Garden Tea Party The endless rain has finally subsided and my garden is starting to come to life. It seemed like the perfect time to enjoy tea outdoors. I recently found these vintage metal ...
