Hello sweet friends. I hope that you are well. I have been working on several projects simultaneously. I’m laughing at my blue hands as I type this. Today is all about Sunday Smiles Majestic. The definition of majestic is” having or showing impressive beauty or dignity.
Of course that reminds me of someone very special.
Ballinlough Castle
You have to see this charming 17th century castle in Ireland. All of the rooms feel beautifully cozy.
A Cup Of Warmth
Cooler weather is right around the corner. I think these homemade tea bags are brilliant. They would warm the heart in more ways than one.
Queens Cake
To go with your tea try these tasty little treats.
Château de Gudanes
Every now and again I click on the Château de Gudanes website to see how the renovations are going on the 18th-century neoclassical gem. The bathrooms are magnificent. Follow along on their Instagram.
Favorite Fall Tours
Tomorrow kicks off my favorite fall tours. You are sure to be inspired.
Sunday Smiles Majestic
I wanted to write a very special post to mark her Majesty’s passing. However, the words just won’t come. This is no surprise as I find it hard to be creative when I am sad. But I do love seeing all the wonderful images that are being released to mark this tremendous loss and thought I would share a few of my favorites as well as some links to past posts.

What a wonderful post, I needed your beautiful photos and words on a rainy and dreary day. I feel a deep sadness that the Queen has passed, yet another soul of a bygone Era the likes of which we will not likely see again has gone home to the Lord. I console myself that she can lay down her burdens and be reunited with those she has loved, lost, and missed for so long. Your photos of beautiful places and delicious items make me want to travel, do things, have a tea party, etc. it is a joy to daydream away from our weary world if only for a moment.

I understand. I have felt the same but then I thought we have time — time before the state funeral. I know the words will come for me. I hope they do for you as well. You are one of the very few people I know who share my own deeply rooted, passionate admiration for the queen and for the British monarchy. Biggest hugs.
