Hello, my cool ghouls and goblins! Welcome to A Truly Spooktacular Home. It is certain to give you chills and thrills.
A Truly Spooktacular Home
Our truly talented friends, Mike and Michele, begin planning their Halloween decor a year in advance. The amazing outdoor theme changes every year.
For this current dimension, we take you to Quarantine Zone Area 51.
Michele is an amazing costume designer. She creates gorgeous dance, cheer, and costume apparel.
Area 51
Mike is the building force behind much of the creative construction.
House of Horrors
Inside the home is a collection of Halloween decor that has been created and curated over many years.
A Chilling Kitchen
The kitchen is such fun. Creepy, kooky, and spooky decor lurks around every corner.
Paper Mache Perfection
A past theme was Game of Thrones. This White Walker Night King was created by Michele via various mediums to include paper mache.
There was also a Circus theme.
I want my Mummy.
Dead Man’s Party
I absolutely adore the formal dining room. It is decorated in a Dia De Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) theme.
Of course, Halloween decor is best viewed at night. So I will leave you with a video featuring the front yard in all of its alien glory. The soundtrack, lighting, and atmosphere are simply fabulous.
The FBI agent exciting the property is our Sweet Guy. He has captured the heart of the youngest female alien and thinks she is out of this world.
Thank you, Mike and Michele!
Happy Halloween!

Hi Arwen,
Thank you for your concern.
The homeowner’s mother is of Hispanic heritage.
As the writer, I try to be very respectful of other cultures. My husband was born and raised in Panama and we love sharing the beauty of the land and its people.
I hope the post conveys what I consider cultural appreciation of this sacred holiday.

Cute cute cute cute CUTE! I really loved the cabinet full of beautiful Dia de Los Muertos sugar sculls. If you didn’t see the ones my girls and I painted this year I posted it a few posts ago.
What great themes – I am still smiling! from your post! Laura, your friends names are Mike and Michele with one L? That’s my hubs and my name – I am a one L Michele too. I love that – those names leapt right off the screen at me.
Happy Fright Night! Hugs!
