A quick recap of our housing situation is this: Homes in Phoenix, AZ are on the market for mere hours unless there is something really, really wrong with it. We are not opposed to working hard on a fixer upper in a good neighborhood. It does not have to be a castle. The prices are so good that the investors have returned with a vengeance. We were hopeful on one house but lost out. There are currently 8 houses in our MRLS portal. We have seen them all. Insert Panic Here. ... View the Post
Step On It~ A Round Ottoman Slipcover
My fur boy Rudi loves to climb up on the couch. As he is a dachshund his long back needs all the extra help it can get. I’ve had this ottoman since the Tuscan look was in. The size is really perfect and the material is still in great shape, it was just…um…ugly. They have helped nurture and inspire a continual garden of beautiful blessings. Their love and guidance has led me to now parent and nurture in a wide variety of ways. In the traditional sense I have ... View the Post
Pretty Lampshades And A Knockoff
I recently had two bare naked lamp bases which caused me to create a folder of lampshade ideas. I thought I’d share some of my favorites from what I found. Pretty Lampshades And A Knockoff. Folly & Glee uses vintage barkcloth and other vintage materials to create their lampshades. Pretty Lampshades And A Knockoff This amazing faux bois lampshade from Mandi really lights up my life. (Oh you knew that bad pun would appear in this post sooner or later. A hand-painted lampshade is ... View the Post
