My last home had 24-foot cathedral ceilings in the kitchen so a pot rack was not an option in the kitchen. But my new kitchen has 9-foot ceilings. So I have become a bit obsessed with Pot Racks. There are plenty of premade pot rack options. But I like the idea of something a bit more unconventional. Julia Child I believe set the trend for thinking outside the box with her pegboard pot rack solution. Pot Racks I mean why get something that everyone else can have when you can create your ... Utensil Storage Ideas
I have just begun unpacking. As a retired Air Force wife who moved often I have a pretty good system. The beds are made up first. That way when you are completely exhausted you won’t have a major meltdown when you walk into the bedroom and find a bare mattress. Next, is putting away the bathroom necessities so that teeth can still be brushed in spite of the chaos. Third, in line is unpacking the kitchen. What can I say? I like to eat. One glass bottle alone can sell between $2~$3 on ebay so it was a fantastic deal. The first thing I did was clean all the jars and reorganize my own spice cabinet. You can read Spice Girl Part I HERE. Then the old spice racks sat and sat and sat in my stash. There is nothing like moving and having to ... View the Post
I Met The President
I Met The President! Ok, technically it was my Sweet Boy dressed up as President William H. Taft. I Met The President Every year the entire fourth grade creates a wax museum. The children are given a list of names of individuals who were either born, raised or positively influenced the state of Arizona. Now I have to tell you that Sweet Boy is a little like Alex P. Keaton. Even though the list contained several notable actors, sports figures and his favorite director, Sweet Boy’s ... View the Post
