Yesterday I shared my yummy baked boysenberry French toast. To really make it something special I added an easy to make berry syrup. Keep reading to see how easy it is to make and what else you can use it for. Laura’s Homemade Berry Syrup 2 1/2 cups of berries (I used fresh strawberries and boysenberries, but you could use frozen.) 1/2 cup of sugar (more or less can be used to taste) 1/4 cup of water Sprinkle the berries with the sugar. Laura’s Boysenberry Baked French Toast
I imagine that like me many of you have pinned several recipes to your Pinterest board and then never did anything else. Last week I decided to change all that. Since it was spring break I took advantage that I had a week off of school and spring cleaned my house from top to bottom in addition to doing a million things to prepare our condo for sale. Unbelievably during this chaos my family still expected hot meals. :) Now Mr. Décor is the type of man that when he is doing hard, manly labor ... View the Post

Our mistake was that we had assumed someone would ... View the Post

New Scalloped Linen Valances for the Master Bathroom
I hesitated to share these scalloped valances I made for our master bathroom. They were my very first attempt at scallops and I think my last. But, life isn’t perfect and it’s good to have a reality check every now and again. New Scalloped Linen Valances for the Master Bathroom My bathroom windows have only had blinds hanging up for the past year while I decided what type of window coverings I wanted. The bathroom is a bit tricky in that there is no actual door to the bathroom, just an ... View the Post
