As the year draws to a close I can’t help but take a glance back. It was not exactly a peaceful year for our nation or even our world. But how thankful I am to those who are the peacemakers. Those who keep the peace and aid others selflessly. Blessed Are The Peacemakers Blessed Are The Peacemakers Earlier this year I spied this vintage Santa at an estate sale. He instantly reminded me of someone I knew. Can you see the resemblance? This is my brother Craig. He is an amazing ... View the Post
Joy Brought To Me By Tinker The Elf
Every year something happens that is so magical that my belief in the Spirit and joy of Christmas is renewed within my heart. This year that Joy Brought To Me By Tinker The Elf. (He is so named after the magical “tinkling chime sound” he makes when turned over. You can hear him in action HERE.) I found Tinker this past October at an estate sale. She told me that she was proud of me for sticking with my education despite the many obstacles I had faced but that even once I earned my degree she hoped I would never stop learning. As she sat in her chair I looked at the side table stacked with the several medical journals she received each month. They had been ... View the Post
