How Does Your Garden Grow

Hello sweet friends! I am thinking of everyone and wishing you all well. Sweet Guy is home from school and we have been working on several projects. After a week of overcast skies and rain, it was time to get outside. How Does Your Garden Grow? How Does Your Garden Grow? I think many people are struggling right now. While I am committed to focusing on the positive I will admit that I was pretty low earlier this week. I felt sorrow with my son possibly missing all of his Senior year ... View the Post

Sunday Smiles The Repair Shop

Yesterday I spent a lovely day with my friend Dartanyan. It was a Featherweight spa day for the new to me sewing machine. We cleaned, we oiled and now my girl is repaired and ready to sew!!!  It felt deep in my bones good. Today is full of Sunday Smiles The Repair Shop. A Chemise a la Reine For A Georgian Picnic

Hello sweet friends! Welcome to another edition of Historic Fashion Fridays! I recently made and wore A Chemise a la Reine For A Georgian Picnic. Last Saturday several members of the D/FW Costumers Guild gathered together for our annual Georgian Picnic. Members often make and wear historical fashion styles from the Georgian Era. The era occurred between 1714 to 1830–37. It gets its name after the Hanoverian kings George I, George II, George III, and George IV. A sub-period is the Regency ... View the Post

If you are coming over from Common Ground let me say that I am so glad that you are here! Debra's fall garden is truly lovely. Fall On The Front Porch Since I had recently shared our ...
