On Friday my day began before sunrise. Luckily this pumpkin lit up my sleepy self. Can you tell who it is wishing you a Happy Halloweiner? Arizona Bloggers Luncheon. Arizona Bloggers Luncheon I wanted to get in some last minute studying for a midterm. But I turned in my exam not feeling very confident. Luckily I left school to attend the Arizona Blogger Luncheon. A tub with a view
I try to begin my day with ten minutes of peace. This is achieved by taking a relaxing bath. When we remodeled the master bathroom our contractor installed an inconvenient towel bar on the side of the shower. It has remained empty. This is the view I have "enjoyed" while taking my soaks for the past two years. A tub with a view. It was a foreclosure that had sat empty for 8 months and it had been a rental property before that. So in one word it was: DIRTY! With a little elbow grease and creative decorating it has turned into a pretty cute casita. When I think about what my own first apartment looked like, (couch pulled from the dumpster, tiny black and white tv set on an overturned ... View the Post
Rick Rack Attack
A few weeks ago I wrote a post on a few projects I created with vintage rick rack and seam binding. The madness continues. Rick Rack Attack. I have continued working on the Fashionista's apartment. We had an extremely low budget (think: none) to decorate the space. It has two sets of windows in the living and dining areas. When I found this stack of linen Pottery Barn drapes at Goodwill it was like discovering gold. Rick Rack Attack I transformed the beige color with a few bottles of ... View the Post
