A Christmas Tree For Queen Elizabeth

In the past few weeks, the British royal family has enjoyed a few notable moments. To celebrate Sweet Guy and I decided to do a bit of decorating in their honor. Dickens Fashions for Christmas Faires

I recently typed in a search engine question "How many A Christmas Carol movies are there?" The earliest surviving screen adaptation, Scrooge, or, Marley's Ghost, was made in 1901. There are 19 big screen adaptions and many more productions have been done for tv and the theater. Palm Beach Style

There is perhaps a no better design that personifies the endless summer more than Palm Beach Style. Palm Beach socialite Jim Kimberly, his wife, and friends with his white sports car and white boats moored on Lake Worth, 1968, Slim Aarons. Palm Beach Style To understand how the Palm Beach Style first developed one must travel back in time. The first settlers arrived in the Palm Beach Florida area, then known as Lake Worth, in 1872.  It was established as a resort area in 1893/94 by ... View the Post

Fashioning A Reign 90 Years of Style From the Queen’s Wardrobe

It has been ages since I’ve written a Royal themed post. Several of you have inquired if I was still going to write them. So here is Fashioning A Reign 90 Years of Style From the Queen’s Wardrobe. I did cover the Queen’s 9oth birthday on both Instagram and Facebook. But I will try to be better about posts here. The Royal themed posts always require a great deal of historical research. Such research requires an investment of time that I don’t seem to have as I enter into my last year in ... View the Post
