This past week has seen scorching temperatures coupled with high humidity. It’s had me dreaming of walks along the beach coupled with cool breezes. Here’s to Sunday Smiles 104.
I adore the collected layers in this charming cottage located in Montauk, NY.
Sunday Smiles 104
I haven’t wanted to turn on my oven but still have two men to feed. These Baja taco’s are perfect. Serve with cilantro rice.
Cute Summer Craft
This is such a cute summer craft to create with kids. I think it could work with materials collected in the woods as well.
Nantucket Point
This gorgeous home, decorated by Amy Studebaker, artfully combines antiques with a touch of modern. It feels so cozy!
Drawstring Bags
I have a few summer totes that could benefit from a simple drawstring bag.
A Man Called Otto
Mr. Decor and I watched this wonderful film last night and we both truly loved it.

Hi Laura,
I am going for Ms.Studebaker’s look in my bedroom. I’ve got the walls painted now…. one more coat, number 4. I love that room. It won’t be the same though because it has 1980s pine trim which I don’t like but am hesitant to paint the inside window, I don’t know if they would work as well as they do now. Whoa, what I wouldn’t give for the fireplace in the first picture. I had it once. I’ve been weedwacking the yard since this morning….the grass is brown but the weeds are having a field day! Literally, I guess. We’ve had the same hot weather….but today is glorious with a strong, cooler prairie wind. I can hear Grandma saying, “It’s a good day to hang out.”
