Hello sweet friends! I hope you are having a wonderful weekend. I am up early to make Mr. Decor’s favorite breakfast. Bacon and stuffed French toast. Here’s to Sunday Smiles 103.
Sunday Smiles 103
If I still had littles I would absolutely give them a helping hand and create this card. Who am I kidding? Mr. Decor would still love to get this!
Planter Boxes
The Fashionista is gearing up to move into a new apartment this next weekend. She has her own balcony and these planter boxes would look so pretty. (I think she’d paint them pink!)
A Home Untouched For 40 Years
A Long Island farmhouse, built in 1701, and owned by Marion Carhill has lain empty for years due to a lack of funding and a legal battle over ownership rights.
Never Stop Learning
Mr. Decor’s is always learning something new. He’s a big believer in keeping your mind active. I loved this post. It’s a good reminder that life is not a race. Life is definitely the one thing that you do not want to finish first.
It’s Been A Minute
Since the last Sunday Smiles I have written five other posts. Here are the links in case you missed any of them.
Garden Themed Summer Home Tour
I’ll be back on Tuesday with a fun summer craft.

The photos of the Marion Carll farmhouse are fascinating! I hope that it can be restored and all the antiques are put back in the home for people to see.
Kari @ Me and My Captain says
thanks Laura for your post today…I agree with Susan, I hope they can resolve differences and restore the Marion Carhill farmhouse.
I also have the stuffed french toast on my list of foods to make. (Tieghan has some great recipes doesn’t she?). I’m sure the Captain will love this with a side of bacon or sausage.
I loved Diana as most people and noticed in her photo that she seemed rather pensive or sad or…..???? What are your thoughts?
Thanks again for a good Sunday read. After church I love to check out posts of my favorite bloggers.
It is raining here in Florida but I am not complaining as we need it.
Have a great rest of your week-end.
