Hello sweet friends! I can feel it in my bones. Spring is right around the corner. With the recent kitchen renovation, my garden has been sadly neglected. Today, temperatures will be in the upper 70’s. So I shall be digging in the dirt to prepare for Sunday Smiles In Bloom.

I love these outdoor urns created for the spring. I shall be adding a few things to my own pots today.

Be More With Less

It’s been a few years since I did Forty Bags in Forty Days during the Lenten season. Earlier this week the paint had cured long enough that I began filling one small kitchen cabinet up with cookbooks. For the past seven years, the only place for my cookbooks was deep in the back of a dark cabinet. I cannot tell you the joy I felt in having easy access to my old recipes. On the flip side, the linen closet under the stairs and my own clothes closet stresses me out every single time I open those doors. It’s time to clear out a few things and send them to live in new homes. I like this gentle approach to reclaiming my peace back.
