Hello sweet friends, I hope you are enjoying a lovely fall. The temperatures finally dropped down to sweater weather. I feel as though I am the only blogger still writing about Thanksgiving. Everyone else has moved onto Christmas. But I don’t want to miss a moment to have Sunday Smiles Gratitude.
Love these printables!
Sunday Smiles Gratitude
This is the prettiest Thanksgiving table. All of the place settings are customized.
Northwest of Stockholm
This gorgeous Swedish Country Home is located just Northwest of Stockholm.
Holiday Prep
Last week I did clean out my pantry and this week I bought most of the Thanksgiving dinner ingredients and my holiday stamps. Every year The Art Of Doing Stuff posts her annual Christmas Pledge. It’s funny, but also spot on.
Help In The Kitchen
This is a great guideline if you need assistance on how to organize your kitchen for the holidays.
What To Watch
Te Ata, meaning Bearer of the Morning, is based on the inspiring, true story of Mary Thompson Fisher. An amazing Chickasaw Nation Storyteller she traversed cultural barriers to become one of the greatest Native American performers of all time.
The movie is rated PG and you can view the trailer HERE.
Have a lovely day,
Laura

You’re not the only blogger to be still writing about Thanksgiving and autumn — but you are one of a precious few. And for this, I thank you heartily. I am SO not ready for Christmas posts. They make me feel terribly inadequate and I rarely feel inadequate when it comes to Christmas. It is still quite green here, believe it or not (though in the past week, we’re now seeing quite a bit of color). I don’t remember November ever being like that. So, my brain is still well into autumn and probably will be, at least till my art sale and possibly beyond. Good grief, I hardly even have the house decorated for fall (and I half-missed Halloween.)
So no! Show me Thanksgiving, please, because if we ever figure out where we are celebrating it, I will need ideas! And I love all you shared.

I am happy to see that you are still posting about Thanksgiving day. I have so much to be thankful for that it is my favorite holiday. Years ago when I was a military wife far from family, it was the time when I would really miss being away from them.

I’m finally back to blogging more regularly, and I really have missed these post, Laura. The Swedish home with all the sunlight coming through the gorgeous windows had me at hello. And the kitchen further down…this is too much eye candy for me!
I printed out the calendar guide. I’m making an effort to make this a happy and thankful/counting our blessings Thanksgiving.
So, how are you and your family? It’s been a long time. What are your daughter and son up to lately? I feel I have watched them grow over the years!
Sending love,
Jane ❤️
