Sunday Smiles Color Me Happy

Hello sweet friends! I hope you are well and your days are filled with sunshine. It’s a bit overcast here today so I put on a bright colored shirt. Some shades just make me smile. So today here is Sunday Smiles Color Me Happy.

I don’t wear much yellow but it does make me smile. This lovely round-up of sunshine will have you grinning from ear to ear.

Paige is not afraid of color and I absolutely adore her happy-hued home this spring.

I’ve been making one easy dessert each week. Today’s baking will include these Sugar Cookie Bars with Cream Cheese Frosting.

Sugar Cookie Bars | Sugar Cookie Bars are thick, soft-baked and topped with the best cream cheese frosting! Sugar cookie bars bake in a cookie sheet so there is plenty serve a crowd. Change up the frosting color and sprinkles for any event or Holiday.

Yellow has been one of my favorite colors going all the way back to junior high! I started making a lot of my own clothes then and if the fabric came in yellow, I had to have it! It’s just so bright and cheery!

You did have a busy week! I still love the promposal idea… <3 Yellow is a favorite color and I was actually thinking of painting our bedroom a pale yellow again here at this house. Yellow makes me happy! What have I been up to? Volunteering for any work duties our school has available. Later this morning I'll go over and pick up a few boxes of book bags which a group of us (in small groups) will deliver to students from our school who are living in apartments and trailer parks as extra fun learning materials. Our principals are trying to get any learning supplies to the maximum amount of students that we can! (bad grammar, I know. ;)) Then I am going to be reading online for our class later today! I am excited about that. 🙂

Still working in the garden, too.
Happy spring and enjoy your roses!
    Barb 🙂
