Saturday Smiles Feeling Blue

Hello sweet friends! I am currently in New York City!  Is it warm where you are? These yummy looking popsicles would definitely combat a case of beating the heat or Saturday Smiles Feeling Blue.

Saturday Smiles Feeling Blue

I love using shades of blue in the summer. We recently moved the antique daybed upstairs to create a second guest room. I am so inspired by this entire home tour. The daybed is truly dreamy perfection.

Delft Decor

I have always admired Delft tiles. This truly excellent post covers the history of these amazing tiles and showcases several stunning ways in which to use them.

What To Watch

In my opinion, based on the talent, timelessness, and sheer magnitude of their music catalog, The Beatles are the all-time greatest pop/rock band. Feel free to disagree, but you’d better BRING IT. LOL

I was intrigued by the film Yesterday in which a tired musician one days wakes up in a world where The Beatles never existed. It’s a feel-good film that covers the multitude of quandaries he faces. Even the supporting roles are genuine scene stealers.

We loved Yesterday – a sweet story and of course the Beatles music.

A renowned journalist living who lives nearby was on tour with the Beatles when they first toured America. I happened to see him just a few days after we saw the film and I was happy to hear that he really liked it. I might even have stolen the words “sweet story” from him.

I’m with you all the way – Beatles were and still are the BEST. The movie looks intriguing. Happy weekend (not blue!)!

I have not seen the movie “Yesterday” but I plan to. I come from the generation who first fell in love with them. I remember their first appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show. Saturday Smiles truly made me Smile.. I love that blue daybed. Oh what beauty. Have a great time in NYC.

I LOVE that blue building. I have to find more!

Yes blue is a favorite with me, as is Delft. Lots of loveliness here, Laura!
