Eleanor Emma Becker Ingalls "Grandma Jingles” So many of you, over the years, fell in love with “Grandma Jingles”. It was easy to do. Over the years Grandma Jingles was mentioned countless times. The Choice To Sparkle
Earlier this week Mr. Décor spent several hours in the attic. The next morning he announced “The mice are using the area from the garage to the house as a super highway.” This is definitely a sentence now on my list of things I don’t want to hear. Yet at the same time I’m thinking this: This latest gem is just the tip of the iceberg with our cottage. There is so much that needs to be done with this money pit house that I will have blogging material for the rest of my days. It was and is ... View the Post
Let’s Go Dutch
It has been awhile since I viewed a home where each and every room made me smile. Ghost Town for Sale
Happy All Hallows Eve! After (almost) two very long months we are officially moving into Storybook Cottage today. Yipeeee! I recently came across an article that mentioned an entire ghost town could be purchased for perhaps as little as $800,000. After viewing picture after glorious picture, taken by Karen of This Old House 2 Blog, I was entranced. Much like Grandmother’s house you go over the river and through the woods to get to Johnsonville, Connecticut. I envisioned hosting weddings ... View the Post
The ORC Week 5 The Showstopping Element and Little Disasters
Here is The ORC Week 5 The Showstopping Element and Little Disasters. When decorating any room there should be one element that elicits conversation. Five weeks ago when I revealed the design board for our new family room there was a tie for that coveted position between the blue leather sofa and a rug I had yet to find. The ORC Week 5 The Showstopping Element and Little Disasters Last Friday I drove over to Highland Park area of Dallas #swanky. I had gone online to Estatesales.org and had ... View the Post
