A French Footstool Receives a Slipcovered Makeover

Last year there was a furniture store that was going out of business. As soon as I spied this reproduction Louis XVI stool I could not get it paid for fast enough. It was the perfect size for my bathroom vanity. But I didn't love the polyester upholstery. So, it was time that A French Footstool Receives a Slipcovered Makeover. Love Letters, Pearls and Ribbon

Recently I was walking through Hobby Lobby and spied the prettiest wooden pedestal. It was a bit pricey, even with a coupon, but I just KNEW it would fit the large glass cloche I had made several years ago perfectly. So, into the cart, it went. I had an idea to combine Love Letters, Pearls and Ribbon. Love Letters, Pearls and Ribbon I knew exactly what I wanted to put into the cloche. My friend Kathy had inspired me. Kathy had used rolled up wrapping paper to decorate her cloche. I ... View the Post

Valentine Cupcake Cloche

Last Friday I attended a ladies luncheon. I showed up with a tray of treats that made all of my friends very happy. Here is how to make a Valentine Cupcake Cloche. Valentine Cupcake Cloche Believe it or not this craft took me less than 15 minutes to create. You might remember in December of 2012 when I created the Winter Wonderland Cloche Ornaments. I still had several of the plastic wine glasses that had had their stems removed by Mr. Décor and his band saw. I have been in major craft ... View the Post

The Red Pepper~ A Mother’s Journey

Interesting title right? I struggled with this post. I did not want to write it. It was too hard. To write this post would offer a deep, personal glimpse of me and my family for all the internet world to see. But still He whispered, nudged, perhaps even commanded me to write this post. Fair warning: This post is a bit wordy. You may be familiar with the following verse where God talks of our bodies being temples: "Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, ... View the Post
