Hello sweet friends, the flowers are blooming in my neck of the woods which means it is time to change the decor. I hope you will enjoy this Touches Of Spring Home Tour.
Touches Of Spring Home Tour
We’ll begin the tour in our small entryway.
Sweet pewter bunnies are paired with neutral paper mâché eggs.
Heading into the living area the green hutch currently features antique Bavarian china in soft pastel shades.
A quick turn and the mantel is ready to be admired by a four legged family member.
Gracie Ingalls the doxie is sporting a new spring colored collar.
The coffee table features similar pewter bunnies and eggs.
Sometimes less is best paired with a springtime nest.
The Prince of Wales mirror was found at an estate sale several years ago. It reflects the mantel.
Porcelain bunnies are placed next to wooden eggs. It somehow works.
A happy spring mantel.
I used decor items that had the same colors featured in the floral painting.
Our sweet bunnies were found while we lived in Germany.
Hippity Hoppity!
Let’s head over to the dining area next.
The Dining Area
The dining area has been dressed in soft shades of pink.
We will celebrate the Fashionista’s birthday very soon and pink is her favorite color.
The embroidered table runner is from the Edwardian era and was a lovely gift from sweet Marianne.
The delicate stitching features basket and blooms.
The pink china is various Bavarian patterns collected from estate sales over the years.
The crystal belonged to my grandmother Mary. The silverplate was collected by my great grandmother Lenora with S & H greenstamps.
Over on the sideboard sits the Easter bunny.
He also has a wee friend.
I hope you will come back tomorrow for springtime touches in the kitchen.
I hope you have enjoyed this year’s spring tour of the living and dining areas.

Beautiful, Laura! Your home is so warm and welcoming! I envy your flowers starting to bloom there, as we are about a month behind you with color in the garden. Have a wonderful week!
Laura, your spring home tour is lovely and what gorgeous robin’s egg blue chairs! Happy spring! Blessings, Cecilia @ My Thrift Store Addiction
Hi Laura,
I like the natural colors of the rooms where you are still able to add any color you want. The colors are not only the story but the backdrop. Look at Gracie’ with her matching collar. That was probably just a lucky coincidence, but it is charming.
Lovely!
Your home tour is lovely and the pastels are so pretty…even Gracie’s collar. She is adorable with her sweet expression. I have Spring envy as I still have St. Patrick’s decor up and need to remove and look towards Easter. Thank you for the nudge. Blessings always my friend.
Your Easter touches in your home are so dainty, warm and cozy! All of your design choices just brought a big smile to my face. Thank you for these sweet reprieve in my day!
I really enjoyed this spring decor post so much!
Everything is absolutely beautiful, and the decor is just stunning!
I absolutely love vintage mirrors, they absolutely give a room a beautiful reflection of everything within the room!
I love the pewter bunnies, as well as the paper machete bunnies!
The beautiful colors of spring are so welcoming and inviting!
The hutch is absolutely gorgeous, of course green is my favorite color, as I find it quite peaceful!
The table decor is gorgeous!
I love the beautiful china, and the table runner brings in that special quality touch, that ties it all together!
Gracie is looking adorable! It’s delightful, Laura — every single image. I’m a fan of pewter bunnies too. And you remind me it’s time to dig out the nests and all things bird! I can’t let our cold temps hold me back any longer.
Oh what a lovely display of cheerful and beautiful colors!!
I do so love the spring!!
You have a lovely home, and I enjoy all the vintage and antique touches. I’m really over the gray and white boring modern stuff…even with plants in it…LOL. I joined your blog and coming from Vintage Charm. Sandi
