Hello sweet friends, it would seem that most of us are trying to stay warm. Even my friends and family members living in Florida have sent snow photos. I ventured out on Tuesday and was happy to return to the warmth of Storybook Cottage. Here’s to Friday Favorites Keeping Cozy.
Jane’s Jubilee
I am very excited to announce that I have been selected to present at this year’s Jane Austen Festival at the Heritage Village Museum. To celebrate Ms. Austen’s 250 birthday a variety of classes, teas, and a ball will take place.
If you are wondering what my planned topic is, here is a hint.
Friday Favorites Keeping Cozy
One of my favorite sites for cozy decor is Pine and Prosper. So many wonderful layers and textures can be found in this post.
Be My Valentine
It is the perfect time to stay at home and keep cozy. I’ve pulled out my collection of doilies, ribbon and more to create some charming vintage valentines.
To Dream Of Spring
During the late winter months gardeners often begin to plan their spring plantings. Hidcote gardens in the Cotswolds is on my “must visit” list. You can see more dazzling images HERE.
Hearty Fare
Let’s hear it for comfort food. Braised Beef Osso Buco is on the menu for this Sunday’s dinner. I can’t wait!
What To Watch
The inspiring Widow Clicquot is based on the true story of Barbe-Nicole Ponsardin Clicquot. After her husband’s untimely death the Widow Cliocquote defies convention and assumes control of the fledgling wine business they had begun together. She overcomes numerous political and financial barriers, defies her critics and revolutionizes the champagne industry by inventing techniques that are still used to this day. The movie is available on Netflix and other streaming services.
In Case You Missed It
Earlier this week I shared a Pretty In Pink Palentine Tablescape.
See you Tuesday,
Laura

Laura, Oh, my gosh, you gave us a bevy of inspiration today. I was thrilled to hear you are going to present at the museum in Ohio. I immediately went to the site. It will draw great attendance and the teas are already sold out! Oh, it looks wonderful and I love museums like that. Living museums.
I am gaga over the valentines. I need to take my collection, too! The newly created ones draw me in more., actually.
Well, I’ll dive deeper into all the wonderful posts now. Thank you!

I’m so excited for you to be part of the Jane Austen Festival! That’s great that they have started having it again. I want to go someday! Those Valentines are calling my name! Every year I participate in a local radio station’s project to make handmade valentines for children in hospital & seniors in nursing homes . They are not near as fancy, but it’s fun to get out the doilies and ‘bits & bobs’ to create them.
