Hello sweet friends, I hope you had a wonderful week. Yesterday, Mr. Decor and I celebrated our 26th wedding anniversary. I shared a sweet story about that day on Instagram. In keeping with tradition we had a very understated celebration at home. I gathered up some vintage linens, a few pieces of my great-grandmother’s Bavarian china and snipped a few blooms from the garden. It was so simple but brought such joy to our hearts that I’m sharing Friday Favorites Prairie Moments.

Someone recently was asking about my everyday style both decor and clothing wise. As we were at the recent Little House festival I responded that I enjoyed creating Prairie Moments. Further explaining that I’ve always been drawn to the influences of yesteryear. Sometimes a little shabby, but always with a touch of pretty. Most of my treasured pieces usually have a heartfelt story on their origin.
