Hello sweet friends. This last day of January is so cold. We are in the midst of a major ice storm this week and I am happy to not venture out. I’ve been puttering around the house creating some pretty vignettes. Today I am sharing a Romantic Antique Valentine Tiered Tray.
I LOVE tiered trays! They are such a fun opportunity to showcase collections or seasonal decor.
I made my own tiered tray from two metal baskets a few years ago.
This collection of spring décor was fun to create too.
Romantic Antique Valentine Tiered Tray
For Valentine’s Day I wanted something very romantic in feel. With a way to incorporate my own collection of a few Victorian Valentines. For inspiration I perused Pinterest and tried a few key words in the search bar but everything was very MODERN in feel. Cute, but modern.
So, I just started collecting small things from around the house that I felt would go together.
I had found the book and dashing figurine awhile back at an estate sale. I paid $5 for both.
The tiny frame, potted plant, and small red roses all came from Michaels.

You can find the tutorial for the Pearl Hearts here.
I wound a bit of lace onto old wooden spools.
Grandma Mary’s pearls were also layered in.
The pink china lady lifts up to hold trinkets and secrets.
I hope you enjoyed my idea of the perfect Valentine tiered tray.
I’ll be back on Friday.

What a beautiful way to collect a whole bunch of stuff in one spot and pull it together so it’s not just everywhere! Lovely, Laura. I really do appreciate all the sweet touches and, of course, the pretty pearls!

Laura, I smiled when I saw the man was on one tier and the woman on the other. I thought that was a charming touch because it leaves the story open to the viewer to determine. Are they going in opposite directions or are they looking for each other?

Laura, I pretty much wasted my day. I wish I had pulled out my valentine things and been creative. That will be my goal for tomorrow. Just trying to stay warm, not getting out. Stay safe and Happy February.
