Hello sweet friends! I was recently shopping in the dollar spot areas of Target and Wal Mart and was inspired to create a Fun Halloween Shelf and Garland DIY.
The Supplies
I created the garland with the following supplies:
- Fun wooden tags from the Target Dollar Spot.
- Mini wood beads from Wal Mart (Twine can also be used.)
- Assorted scrap ribbon
Simply lay out the mini wooden beads and then evenly attach the tags. I used the the bakers twine that is included in each tag package.
On the ends of the garland tie on bits of scrap ribbon in various shades and textures.
So fun and festive!
Fun Halloween Shelf and Garland DIY
I decided to hang the garland on the kitchen shelf. Small command hooks were placed underneath the lower shelf.
From there bits and bobs were gathered and arranged on the upper shelf.
Looking through my stash I collected elements in a black, white, orange, and yellow color palette. Vintage wooden and metal accents were also included.
Really anything goes. Just have fun!
I’ll see you on Sunday with more spooktacular ideas!
