I absolutely love the colors that Catherine Newman uses in her home. The cherry on top is the unfolded laundry on the chair, coffee table drawing (brilliant idea if you have littles) and that you can see the litter box in the bathroom.
Go Big
Monica Fjeld transformed a tiny space in her Oslo home into a guest room. Although some would say that the space is too cramped or the artwork is too large I think it is charming!
This two minute movie, starring 90 year old Walter Strohmeyer, gave me so many feelings.

Would you live on a houseboat? It is something that Mr. Decor and I are considering short term when he retires. I love this cozy and lovely one.
Sunday Smiles Unconventional
Yesterday I took another trip around the sun. I just love becoming older. Birthdays are so precious. There is never a guarantee that you will have another. My family offered to take me out to eat. I wanted to go out to breakfast because truthfully, that is my favorite meal of the day.
Because Funfetti pancakes. Enough said.
Friends I think this may be my best year yet. It is starting out SO GOOD! I can’t wait to share all the lovely things that are happening.
