Chapter 32: Haste To The Wedding
Laura is preparing for her upcoming wedding. Pa brings her gift of a new trunk to fill with her clothing and household goods.
As a farmer’s wife, she needs to take her calico work dresses. I just finished a new calico work dress and we look at some of the details of the garment.

Chapter 25: The Night Before Christmas
In this chapter, Laura describes Christmas dinner as “…a big fat hen stuffed and roasted, brown and juicy”.
The yummy stuffing recipe comes from The Laura Ingalls Wilder Companion.
Directions from The Little House Cookbook were used to make the deliciously moist roasted hen.
