Here in Texas, it has been HOT and HUMID with a capital H! Sticking close to home here are a few things that brought Sunday Smiles Beat The Heat.
Sunday Smiles Beat The Heat
This cool treat can be made with or without alcohol. The frozen concoction is SO refreshing on a hot summer day.
That’s A Wrap
I’m thinking about making some of these cooling neck wraps to wear when I am out working in the yard. I think fun fabrics are the key.
Picnic Pizzazz
This darling watermelon blanket is the perfect project to make with kids and then enjoy after packing a picnic.
A Fashionable DIY
I have a few sandals that the straps have started to look a bit…grungy. This cute Daisy Chain DIY is the cutest embellishment for summer.
A Fun Summer Frock Giveaway
Over on my Instagram page, I am giving away a free vintage sundress pattern, fabric, and notions. You can enter HERE.
I’ll be back on Tuesday with some fresh summer fun!

Oh my gosh! Just what I needed to see on a jot and humid day in Maryland. I want to make the drink and pick a project. Although a few of those made with alcohol might slow me down! I might start with that beading!

Those sandals were adorable! I keep reading about people using E6000 glue for DIY projects. It must be easier to use than Gorilla Glue. I pinned the sandals for a project for the future. You find the sweetest things to post Laura. Stay cool and safe my Friend

Creative ideas here, Laura. I’m going to come up with some kind of neck cooler for hubby while he works on the shop roof! Time will tell if he will actually use it.
