Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Are you wearing a wee bit o’ green? Start your day in a lucky way with this Top O’ The Mornin’ To Ya Tablescape.
Top O’ The Mornin’ To Ya Tablescape
Over the weekend I created a tablescape inspired by the holiday but didn’t feature a single leprechaun or four-leaf clover. This way it can be enjoyed for a week or two instead of just a few days.
I began with a tablecloth that I found at an estate sale probably 3 or 4 years ago. The bright and happy embroidery colors reminded me of the Irish flag~ green, white and orange.
The table was set for a Saturday morning breakfast.
Of course, an Irish themed breakfast must include a spot of tea and perhaps a bit of clotted cream and jam for the scones.
I adore these teeny-tiny tureens I found years ago at a Lennox outlet. I’ve used them to serve all kinds of jams and sauces.
For those with a sweet tooth, these antique silver bird-themed tongs work well to add a sugar cube to a cup of tea.
The centerpiece began with a few crystal glasses nestled into a porcelain open weave basket.
I wish you could smell these softly scented ivory and pale peach roses.
Here are a few other Irish themed posts you might enjoy.

Love your tablescape and the roses are so beautiful. Hugs, Marty
LOVE that tablecloth! I have a “thing” for vintage linens.
Despite no leprechauns on the table it still evokes some of that St. Patricks feel Laura, just lovely!
Beautiful! I love those roses and the mini tureens are too cute!! I love all things Irish!
Your table is lovely, Laura. I love the embroidered tablecloth, the small tureens, the antique silver tongs, and the beautiful roses. I would love to have morning tea here and visit with you. 🙂 I'm glad you included links to more Irish posts; I'm off to read them now!
Have a great day!

So pretty. Thanks for sharing. I love corned beef & cabbage. Happy St. Patrick's Day.
Beautiful table setting! ♧
Looks very pretty and cheery! 🙂
I have had my St. Patrick's Day decor up for over a month now but it will all come down promptly after our dinner this evening and I've already begun to add my spring decor and Easter decor will be set out now too. I like to keep the seasonal decor going for as long as possible and yes, I'm wearing a lot of green today even though I'm only a tiny bit Irish. I am a joiner when it comes to such things and I always think that I should have gone into elementary teaching because I'm such a kid when it comes to seasonal observances and I like to make every little holiday very special! 🙂
Happy St. Patrick's Day!
Blessings to you and yours,
Linda
Love that centerpiece, Laura – the peach & ivory are a favorite color combo of mine. I used to have a “Just Joey” peach rose that was a grafted type; alas, years later it began sprouting from its root – red! Happy St. Patrick's Day to you too! ♣
This is so very lovely, Laura! Those roses! Glorious!
I love the colors of the cloth and the fact that they match the flag. Beautiful silver tongs, too. I wish I could sit there and smell the roses.
Happy Saint Patrick's Day!
May The Lord bless you and may you not be punched… Unless it is Mr. decor doing the pinching.;-)

PS. That is a great way to arrange the roses with the glasses in the porcelain basket. Thanks for that tip!
Love the tablecloth and the centerpiece. Happy St. Patrick's Day, Laura!
Lovely, elegant roses, Laura. The tablecloth is perfect, too.
Sending St. Patrick's Day good wishes to you! Susan
That tablecloth was such a pretty find! The table looks lovely, I can almost smell the Irish soda bread baking in the oven! And I absolutely adore those tiny tureens. xoKathleen
The peach roses and the crystal are so beautiful. They should be in every tablescape. When I go to the market peach flowers are on my list.
Beautiful table! Lovely roses too!
Your table is very inviting. I want to step right in my screen and have a seat.
