Oh Happy Day!

Oh Happy Day! Today is a very special day for me. It is Mr. Décor’s birthday. Oh, Happy Day! Some of you are well acquainted with Mr. Décor. You know that he is a man of honor. Visiting a grave of a friend at Arlington and telling his son about sacrifice. It’s no secret that he is the man behind the woman who writes this blog. He often comes up with post topics and is always ready to lend a hand with DIY projects particularly if they involve lumber and chainsaws. The native American ... View the Post

The Inn Crowd

A few days ago I saw a button on my friend Joy’s blog. It asked a question about The Inn Crowd. It gave me pause for more than just a moment. I examined my heart and searched my soul. Nativity ~ John Singleton Copley The Inn Crowd In a literal sense, I have never been part of the “in crowd”. During the tween years, my reflection revealed a girl with buck teeth, hand me down clothes and a bad Dorothy Hamill haircut.  The teen years were just as awkward. Like Joan ... View the Post

Wear It With Everything

I recently bought a gray wool A-line skirt. I can Wear It With Everything!  It looks so good with jewel tones. Wear It With Everything It also looks pretty chic when worn with fur and mustard. Of course, nothing is more classic that wearing it with a white shirt. Red is Mr. Décor’s favorite. With tights. Must be a school girl thing. :) I found my skirt at the thrift store for $4.99. It is vintage. It had a classic “A line” silhouette which I loved. But the button and belt ... View the Post
