Right when you walk into our new home you are greeted with a large brick fireplace. In fact it is one of the largest fireplaces that I have ever seen. I am going to tell you right now that Mr. Décor LOVES this fireplace. I am on the fence about it. Actually, I have been trying my best to ignore it. One Room Challenge Week 2
This past week has just flown by while working on the One Room Challenge Week 2. It’s been a bit exhausting. First up a bit of demolition occurred. The 10 Cent Tour–Storybook Cottage
It is 10:30 on Tuesday night as I write this post. I should be sleeping as I have been working 12-14 hours a day on the house while trying to recover from strep throat. It’s official. Today I am once again the mother of a teenager. It seems like just yesterday that a 5 pound baby was placed in my arms. (2 week old Sweet Boy with an enamored Ann Curry.) As a rule he doesn’t like photos. It’s “One and done.” Begging him for “just one more” he shows his funny side by giving me “the model pose”. The move has been hard on him. Making Sense in a Downsized Space
Have you recently downsized and are struggling to make your new living arrangements work?Two of my all time favorite clients, Ron and Suzi, were so saddened to hear Mr. Décor and I were moving. Over the course of 8 years I had decorated two of their homes with Mr. Décor as my wonderful handyman. Last year they moved into a wonderful senior living complex.
