My favorite new teacup arrived from new friend Jo from Australia. My Favorite New Teacup For the past few years, I had seen postings from dear blogging friends about a teacup exchange hosted by the delightful Stephanie from The Enchanting Rose. This was the first time I joined and it was such fun! You send a package to one person which should include tea and a teacup. You are also welcome to add in sweet little extras. You then also receive a package from another participant so it ... View the Post
Delicious Holiday Snapshots
Hello dear friends! I hope you had a wonderful Easter holiday. Here are some Delicious Holiday Snapshots. Delicious Holiday Snapshots Saturday the Fashionista and I went to go see Beauty and the Beast which we happily sang along to and swooned over the costume and set designs. We also created a strawberry cream cheese cake topped with organic edible flowers. This was also our 28th year of dying eggs together. But this year I have quietly been observing Lent while practicing the instructions given in Matthew 6:1-4. So I am NOT going to talk about what I have been doing to prepare my heart for the arrival of Easter. I will only say that it does not involve in giving ... View the Post
What’s Brightening My Day Vol. 5
This boy has been making our lives bright for over 11 years now. At 12+ years of age, he is still as spry as ever. As evidence, jumping up onto the kitchen chair trying to sneak a bit of treat. What’s Brightening My Day Vol. 5 What’s Brightening My Day Vol. 5 2. Treats I came home from Round Top completely worn out but rallied to ensure that the Fashionista’s birthday was lovely. Like her great grandfather, Papa Jack, she’d rather have anything but a cake. This year’s treat was a Key ... View the Post
