The Promise Of The Peony

I adore the peony. Its pretty colors, delightful fragrance, and billowing blossoms make my heart happy. The Promise Of The Peony. I first became aware of peonies while shopping in the markets of France. Like so many of you I was instantly smitten. I dreamed of having peonies in my garden. You may know that peonies can be a bit finicky. Peony tubers like a shallow planting in well-drained soil. Peonies like the sun but only in a cooler climate ~ which means they do best in ... Fine Art In The Kitchen

There is something so wonderful in this image that it truly resonates with me. It may be the darling children, the subway tile or perhaps the happy use Fine Art In The Kitchen. Fine Art In The Kitchen We are finally getting underway with ripping out the old carpet and broken tile in the family room, kitchen and pantry to install new flooring. You then also receive a package from another participant so it ... View the Post

Delicious Holiday Snapshots

Hello dear friends! I hope you had a wonderful Easter holiday. Here are some Delicious Holiday Snapshots. Delicious Holiday Snapshots Saturday the Fashionista and I went to go see Beauty and the Beast which we happily sang along to and swooned over the costume and set designs. We also created a strawberry cream cheese cake topped with organic edible flowers. This was also our 28th year of dying eggs together. An Unfinished Easter Dress

I was planning to wear such a cute dress this Sunday. Instead, I have an unfinished Easter dress. I had found three yards of a sweet pink and blue vintage fabric at an estate sale for $3. I bought it thinking I was going to make a midi skirt. Then I went to the fabric store and they had the most darling pattern ever on display… It was on sale for $2. Option “B” was my favorite. It needed just three yards for the main part of the dress and half a yard for the collar and belt tabs. I just ... View the Post
