A Lovely Teacup Exchange

A Lovely Teacup Exchange

I recently participated in a lovely teacup exchange hosted by Stephanie of The Enchanting Rose. A Lovely Teacup Exchange This is the second time I have participated in the exchange and it is a true delight to not just create a lovely gift for someone but also receive a sweet package. I was paired with the delightful Debbie Harris of She Graces Her Home. Mrs. Harris is a true kindred spirit who loves pink. I sent her a handsewn tea cozy, a pink rose teacup and other goodies. Fine Art In The Kitchen We are finally getting underway with ripping out the old carpet and broken tile in the family room, kitchen and pantry to install new flooring. To prepare for all the dust I am removing everything from the walls and open shelves. That includes this gallery wall. I have enjoyed this gallery ... View the Post

An Unfinished Easter Dress

I was planning to wear such a cute dress this Sunday. Instead, I have an unfinished Easter dress. I had found three yards of a sweet pink and blue vintage fabric at an estate sale for $3. I bought it thinking I was going to make a midi skirt. Then I went to the fabric store and they had the most darling pattern ever on display… It was on sale for $2. Option “B” was my favorite. It needed just three yards for the main part of the dress and half a yard for the collar and belt tabs. I just ... View the Post

I Made A Tiered Tray

I have wanted a tiered tray for quite some time. I Made A Tiered Tray This tiered tray was created for under $15. The Supplies For this project, you will need two trays of graduated sizes (HomeGoods), a wooden candlestick (Michaels) and 3 small mini wooden candleholders (Hobby Lobby). Remember to use your coupons! Remove any embellishments that you don’t want off of the tiered tray with scissors. Pull out the metal insert of the candlestick using a pair of pliers. Simply ...
