Today it is back to school for Sweet Boy. Woohoo! When school ended in early May the boy and I made a "to do wishlist" and I am happy to say Sweet Boy deemed it a successful summer. I, however, am just exhausted. A bedroom fit for a wee world traveler. Let's celebrate by showing you his finished room. (Although as Mr. Decor says, nothing in our home is ever finished, it is merely between transformations. :) Back in December, I showed you a curtain topper I had made for Sweet Boy's room. This ... Friendly Friday Arlynn’s Home
I am currently working on a commercial remodel and design of a condo clubhouse. It is a large job and I am partnering with my dear friend Arlynn who is a decorator herself. During one of our meetings to discuss plans for the remodel I took a few pictures of her home. I love this art that hangs in her office. Although her kids are now grown, it is still precious. Friendly Friday Arlynn's Home. The home itself is built in the Spanish Colonial style. Within its four walls, Arlynn has cleverly ... View the Post

Ribbon Covered Chandeliers The store featured fabulously papered walls, botanical prints and beautifully painted furniture such as this chest. I adored the sweet slipper chairs which ... Bohemian Bungalow Part Two
Bohemian Bungalow Part Two. This is the charming gray bungalow that sits next to the lovely yellow bungalow I wrote about in my last post. Kristin and Dan Alber have spent a great deal of time and effort to restore this beauty to its former glory. Bohemian Bungalow Part Two The interiors have a continuing color palette of neutrals punctuated by a bright spring green. It is as if the legendary Dorothy Draper and Kelly Wearstler have joined forces. I love how the address of the home shows ... View the Post
Bohemian Bungalow Part One
The backdrop of Bohemian Bliss was held in the beautiful yards of two darling historic bungalows. This is Bohemian Bungalow Part One. Today we will be viewing the yellow home of Dan and Kristin Alber. Bohemian Bungalow Part One The house and its grounds are quite lovely. It even has a wee playhouse. Inside is a profusion of beauty and color. The fireplace is not used in the traditional sense. A tv makes good use of the firebox hidden behind the shutters. I absolutely adore the ... View the Post
