One Last Holiday Project and A Special Christmas Story

I know for some people it may seem as if I am cutting this project close to the wire. But in days of old and still today in many other countries the first day of Christmas will begin tomorrow and continue through the 12th day of Christmas on January 6th~ Epiphany. So, I’m ahead of schedule by that calendar.  One Last Holiday Project and A Special Christmas Story. Christmas Clips

Here is another quick and easy holiday craft. It is a perfect activity to help keep the kids occupied and add a festive flair to your decorating and gift giving with Christmas Clips. Christmas clips I created the clips to give as a “thank you” for all the sold orders in my Etsy shop. So Easy To Make The wooden clothespins were found at Wal Mart. They were $1 for 100. Little vintage treasures were hot glued to the clip. (But craft glue could be used instead for little fingers.) Then a ... View the Post

An Easy and Pretty Appetizer Platter

This was An Easy and Pretty Appetizer Platter that platter took me less than 5 minutes to create.  An Easy and Pretty Appetizer Platter The first layer is fresh herbs for a bit of color and heavenly scent. Add assorted meats and cheeses along with pretty serving tools. Serve alongside some yummy crackers and fresh ... View the Post

Candy Cane Initial and A Pocket Fold Napkin I found the candy cane striped pipe cleaners in the Target $1 section. I have also seen them at the dollar store. You’ll need wire cutters for certain initials and also a pencil or pen to curl the ends. Easy To Make The pipe cleaners bend into ... View the Post

Happy Holidays For One and All

Our home is glowing and we hope it will be Happy Holidays For One and All. Happy Holidays For One and All Not because of happy little villages… Or baubles of blue…. Even though we don’t have a tree or a huge pile of presents the glow is bright and it is coming from within. Today we would like to let our light shine. Through the generosity of our Lord working through several wonderful angels, my Etsy shop has been a grand success. As you can see from above our family will have a ... View the Post

A Hot Cocoa Bar and Other Kitchen Vignettes

A big hit at the Perfect Cookie Exchange was A Hot Cocoa Bar and Other Kitchen Vignettes. A Hot Cocoa Bar and Other Kitchen Vignettes The colors I used in decorating this year are candy apple red and soft aqua. I carried this happy palette throughout our home and into the kitchen. A wire tiered rack on the center island contains new mason jars filled with marshmallows, candy canes, and cinnamon sticks. Vintage mason jars were brightened with a bit of gingham ribbon. Vintage ... View the Post
