I am back home after a whirlwind trip to the Los Angeles area. I have SO much to share that I have decided to spread everything out over a few posts. We arrived in sunny Hollywood around noon on Friday. Our first stop was a charming little bungalow that houses French General. I just adored the bougainvillea covered entryway. Flea Market Shopping List
I am now in the midst of packing for my upcoming trip to LA area. I am packing my Flea Market Shopping List. My first stop will be at French General. The uber talented Kaari Meng is a jewelry maker extraordinaire and a collector of vintage textiles. I cannot wait to visit her shop. Is it stalkerish if I bring my books for her to sign? Sunday was a wonderful day at the Rose Bowl flea market. We arrived a little after 8 am and it was already hot, hot, hot! Perhaps you would like to see the Rose Bowl Treasures. My friend T was laughing about my cart, but in a short matter of time, she was helping me fill it up. I was excited to find a terrific barkcloth liner for the cart. I have been thinking about sewing one up for ages, but have not had the time. Rose Bowl Treasures The vendors had an assortment of things to ... View the Post
