Hello sweet friends! I am joining some wonderful creatives in the Seasonal Saturday’s Hop hosted by Follow The Yellow Brick Home. Didn’t you love Amber’s Little Women inspired decor? Today, I am sharing a Williamsburg Christmas in the Living Room.

The decor throughout the house is very traditional this year. You can see the living room and kitchen tour in this post.
In our small entry I have kept things very simple. A pine garland is draped over the mirror and a quintessential fruit pyramid was created as a welcoming accent piece.

Williamsburg Christmas in the Living Room
In the living room area the main focal point is the enormous hearth.

The mantle has been draped with two types of pine garland, icy branches, pinecones and more faux fruit.

The mirror is enhanced with a simple wreath and John Derian gilded wall decor announcing Joy To The World.

I just kept layering various elements until I was satisfied.

The antique sled always makes an annual appearance.
You can see how we created the stacked birch log fireplace insert HERE.

The fireplace is reflected in the antique Prince of Wales mirror.

The decor on the antique washstand was kept simple with our German Schwibbögen nativity, pewter accents and natural elements.

The various elements are repeated on the coffee table.

These pillows are the favorite resting spot of the dogs. Copious amounts of fluffing are useless.

The green painted hutch currently houses the Friendly Village china collection.

I tossed in some pinecones to add a bit of texture.

My favorite bust is holiday ready with her red ribbon.
I hope you enjoyed part one of my Colonial Christmas tour. Part II, the formal dining room is next Wednesday.

Up next is Calypso In The Country. You will love Shelley’s take on a Ralph Lauren Christmas.

This is so elegant. I’m amazed you found time or energy to do as much as you did with everything going on in the past weeks! The fruit is a lovely idea and gives me a thought for something to make for next year. I love how it looks on your mantel and in the hall. It is elegant to the max, simple and so beautiful. (Actually, sometimes getting that garland just right is not so simple!). It’s beautiful in every way, Laura.
