Hello sweet friends. As many of you know I am currently practicing 40 Days of Kindness on my Instagram account. On this most joyful of days I thought it would be wonderful to give away a few items of spring bliss. Here’s to a Happy Go Lucky Giveaway.
Kindness Counts
One company that I admire for its kindness is Modern Prairie. You can find a wonderfully kind community on the Modern Prairie App. It features the Prairie Pages book club, a crafting circle, a gardening circle, opportunities to have a pen pal, and so much more.
You can also find beautiful clothing, hobby kits and kitchen accessories.
A Bit Of Prairie Pizzazz
Recently Modern Prairie held a mystery shopping event. I decided to play along and select two items to give away. Here is what I was sent:
Today’s giveaway includes a Sprinkle of Love embroidery kit.
As well as a gorgeous brand new Modern Prairie sage green Sonora dress.
The dress is a size extra small. It is adjustable and will fit sizes 2 through 8.
If the dress doesn’t fit the winner they will have the joy of passing on the dress to someone else!
Just for fun I am also including a limited edition Cherry Blossom brooch. The brooch is removable and fits everyone.
A handful of these brooches have been created for the upcoming Cherry Blossom Festival in Marshfield, Missouri. Several members of the Little House cast are attending. I will be joyfully sharing a booth with Hector and Trisha of @casabella.creations. They handcraft beautiful Little House inspired replicas.
More Than Just The Prairie
The giveaway also includes the wonderful book More Than Just The Prairie written By Jennifer Donati.
Jennifer and her sister, Sarah, played the part of Baby Rose Wilder on seasons 8 and 9 of Little House on the Prairie.
I am honored to call Jennifer a cherished friend. Her personal story of heartwrenching loss, growth, and quest for happiness is so inspiring.

We watched Little House the whole time, discussing kindness, love and compassion. We ended the day with the same discussion but taking it a step farther. Now, she wants for us to learn sign language so we will have our own secret language.

I love everything about this. Everything Little House on the Prairie. What a joy it was last year to meet so many of the cast. And join some private pages away from the rest of what is going on in the world.
It doesn’t cost anything to be kind to others.. it could be giving of our time, attention, sitting and listening to them tell a story, giving a gift we want to pass along , maybe a book we enjoyed. The reward is seeing the happiness it brings to them.
