What I’m watching tonight: Jane Austen’s House is presenting a FREE YouTube talk with award-winning costume designer Dinah Collin. Collin is best-known for creating the beautiful costumes worn in the 1995 BBC adaptation of Pride and Prejudice. The video was shot in the beautiful Drawing Room at Jane Austen’s House.

This next week I plan on handcrafting a few homemade Valentine’s to share with those I love. This tutorial for Botanical Imprint Clay Hearts would make perfect little love tokens. 

A Patchwork Home

Awhile back I saw an Instagram post by Amy Sedaris in which she featured her patchworked couch. Since then I’ve started to see more and more well loved couches sporting visable mending using lace scraps, embroidery and more. This makes my heart so happy. Let’s have more repairs and less tossing into the landfill. This completely charming home tour has the coziest couch that features a bit of patchwork pizazz. 

In Case You Missed It

Earlier this week I joined forces with eight talented ladies to share some repurposed Valentine decor. Using previous crafts I created a new love-filled shadowbox.
