Hello friends, is it sweater weather where you are? I have pulled out the fluffy socks and extra blankets. Here’s to Friday Favorites A Cozy Corner.
Friday Favorites A Cozy Corner
This charming circa 1489 Cotswolds cottage has a small footprint but everything is laid out so lovely. The cabinetry is very clever.
Deck The Halls
I am skirting dangerously close to breaking out the Christmas decor. As many of you know I am old school and the tree generally goes up on Black Friday. But I’ll be participating in a wonderful home tour and that is scheduled Thanksgiving week. I’ve been thinking about making a pinecone garland. It would be quite at home in my Thanksgiving kitchen.
Simply Soup
I saw a meme the other day that said, Ice Cream trucks, but with soup. What an amazing idea. On the menu would need to be butternut squash apple soup.
Not So Much The Wood
Country Living is proclaining that wood walls are back. I’m not so sure that they ever left, but I do like how the rooms are decorated in this post.
One Life
I’ve been searching for a family movie to watch on Thanksgiving. I wrote about Sir Nicholas ‘Nicky’ Winton way back in 2013. Warner Bros. finally took notice and made a movie last year. I think this is the winner.
In Case You Missed It

I LOVED the movie about Nicholas Winton! I love that quote at the beginning of your post, too.
