If you took a look at my computer viewing habits it might indicate that this last week was a doozy. I’ve been rewatching Downton Abbey, looking at Storybook homes and saving comforting recipes. I’m ready for a peaceful, cozy fall. Here’s to Sunday Smiles Take Me Away.
Sunday Smiles Take Me Away
If ever a cottage had my name on it this 19th century dwelling is pure charm inside and out.
My front door wreath is tired and dusty. This mushroom wreath is perfect for this transitional time between fall and summer.
Pretty Potatoes
I love cheesy potatoes. These stacked gruyere and thyme potatoes are works of art.
Hayes Cottage
I studied the rooms of this delightful getaway over and over. While the bathroom is a delight you should see the bedrooms!
What To Watch
Mr. Decor sat me down on the couch one evening and said, “I have a movie for you.” I was somewhat familiar with Maria Altmann’s story surrounding her Aunt Adele. I’m not sure how I ever missed Woman In Gold in the theaters, as I love Helen Mirren, but it is well worth the watch. We found it on Netflix.
Five Favorite Fall Decor Ideas
This post is a nice example of how classic design rarely goes out of style.
Have a wonderful holiday weekend.
I’ll be back later this week.
