Hello sweet friends, I hope you are well. It is finally cooling off. I can’t wait for cozy weather and Sunday Smiles Book Love.
Sunday Smiles Book Love
This past week we moved Sweet Guy back to college. He’s still living in the apartment we furnished for free last year.
As we were rearranging the kitchen he mentioned that he would like a knife block. But not a boring one. This idea fits the bill!
Cute Coat Rack
The guys also need a coat rack. I think a trip to the thrift store is in order so I can make this one.
Mini Chocolate Books
This is such a darling and delicious idea!
A Magical Wardrobe
Adults and children alike love a cozy corner. This magical wardrobe is perfection. Make sure to watch the video in the post to get the full effect.
Which Way To…
This darling garden art has some of the most famous literary destinations listed.
A Magical Literary Inspired Week
It’s been a lovely literary inspired week at Decor To Adore. I was inspired by magical forests in creating my new fall hearth decor.
There was a fun sew along to create Mrs. Dashwood’s cap.
I taught two friends to make the cap in a charming sewing circle in this video.
GIVEAWAY!!!
I am giving away the prototype cap featured in the video. Make sure you enter HERE.
A dream dress that has been on my “must make” list for years was finally finished.
You can find the tutorial video to make your own dress HERE.
An Upcoming Holiday Event
I also announced on Instagram an upcoming holiday event, #ALittleWomenHoliday. This event is open to everyone. If you create any Little Women inspired crafts, recipes, decor just use the tag on social media or let me know.
Whew, what a week! I am a bit exhausted so I will be taking a few days off.
I’ll see you next Sunday!

Such a cozy post, Laura. The book rack is adorable Anything made out of books or that use books in a vignette is right up my alley. I have made the tiny books out of those little candies to give to my 1st graders at church for our Books of the Bible party with a little Bible verse many moons ago!

Lots of fun ideas for books and what to do with old books. The little chocolates decorated like little books are awesome. What a cute little treat to share with some teachers or librarians. 🙂
Looking forward to your Little Women posts. Have you ever thought of using Anne of Green Gables for inspiration? Another charming well loved book series that captures the heart.
Thanks for sharing your lovely ideas! 🙂
