Sweet Touches Of Spring

Hello sweet friends! Today I am joining some very talented creatives for Seasonal Saturdays hosted by Amber of Follow The Yellow Brick Home. Today I am sharing Sweet Touches Of Spring in dining room.

Sweet Touches Of Spring

Sweet Touches Of Spring

Overseeing the decorating in the formal dining area are Gracie and Pony the dachshunds.

Sweet Touches Of Spring

The table was set for a family dinner. The Fashionista recommended a fresh green color palette.

Sweet Touches Of Spring

The green damask napkins belonged to my Grandma Mary. When you buy quality classics they can last for years!

Sweet Touches Of Spring

The green goblets were recently used at Sweet Guy’s wedding dinner.

Happy ducks create a cheerful centerpiece.

Over on the sideboard the same color palette was used.

Spring elements, including rabbits and nests, were gathered up in a vintage wicker basket.

Spring in the dining room

Terra cotta pots add a spring garden feel.

I hope you have enjoyed this touch of spring in the dining room.

Have a lovely weekend.

Up next is Thistle Key Lane. You will love Michelle’s spring decor.

Green is so fresh and springy! I love your table with your pretty pitcher centerpiece! You did such a great job mixing textures with the cute bunny and the more formal silverware against the rustic placemats. Happy Easter Laura! – Shelley

Laura, your sweet spring dining room is stunning! I am obsessed with the sage green and garden accents you incorporated into your tablescape. I love the green goblets and your grandmother’s napkins.

The vignette on the sideboard looks perfect in front of the painting. I interpret it as a spring scene along a riverbank or pond. Just beautiful!
Thanks for joining and have a happy and blessed Easter!

I love that your formal dining room doesn’t look or feel stuffy. It’s whimsical, happy, and perfectly spring! I never think of using moss or terracotta pots, but I want to. How do you store the moss, or do you buy more each year? I guess I always have next year. Thanks for the inspo. Happy Easter!

      Hi Cindy,

I actually save my moss by putting it in small plastic grocery bags then placing it in a lidded tub that holds other spring decor when it is out of season. Fun fact: Some of the moss I use throughout the year was collected from your beautiful trees on County Road 407. 🙂

Your springtime dining area is so fun and festive. Of course I adore the bunnies but your sweet centerpiece was also one that made me smile. Sending all good wishes for a happy Easter!
