Hello sweet friends! This past weekend I attended an absolutely enchanting evening arranged by Mrs. Susan McCray. It truly was A Fabulous Fundraiser With Little House Friends.

A Fabulous Fundraiser With Little House Friends
A western themed fundraiser benefitting the BumbleBee Foundation was held on Saturday, March 21st at the Stagecoach Inn Museum located in Newbury Park CA. The president of Ten-K Enterprises , Mrs. Susan McCray, hosted the festivities. Mrs. McCray, an acclaimed author, was the talented casting director for many television series and movies including Little House on the Prairie, Happy Days, as well as the producer for several documentaries.

BumbleBee Foundation
The fundraiser benefitted the BumbleBee Foundation, a non-profit organization that supports families dealing with Pediatric Cancer. It’s Co-Founder, Heather Donatini, serves as BumbleBee’s Executive Director. She is shown here with the master or ceremonies, Jim Moret. You may recognize Mr. Moret as the chief correspondent for the Inside Edition as well as s a regular contributor to CNN, HLN and other networks.

Heather’s tireless work was honored by Thousand Oaks Mayor Mikey Taylor. Mr. Taylor is also known for his previous career as a professional skateboarder and real estate investor.

Prairie Pals
There were several Little House cast and crew members in attendance. Pictured below are Stan Ivar (John Carter) Pamela Roylance (Sarah Carter) Charlotte Randall Yerke (script supervisor and dialog coach) Sidney Robyn Greenbush (Carrie Ingalls) and Dean Wilson (prop master).

I absolutely LOVE hearing the behind the scenes stories from these beloved crew members. They share so many memories of the magic that was created.

It was my first time meeting Stan Ivar and boy was it worth the wait! Mr. Ivar has such a quick wit and a wonderful sense of humor. I could have talked to him for hours!

Dear friends ~ LHOTP creative director Orlando de la Paz and the beautiful Pamela Roylance.

Sharing some of the wonderful silent auction items are Pam, Charlotte and Production Stage Manager, Todd McCraw.

It was so good to see Sidney Robyn Greenbush. It you love mindful living and are looking for a supportive community be sure to visit her new website, Greenbush Twins & Company.

Actor and producer, Steven Wishnoff, always makes me smile.
I attended the event with my sweetheart of the rodeo, Eric C. Gunn. Today is his very last day of work. Congratulations on your retirement!
That’s Entertainment
The evening was filled with fabulous entertainers such as Fort Worth West, BanjerDan, and The Satin Dollz. Their country medley featuring Johnny Cash was outstanding!

Trip and Ana Friendly were also in attendance. I always treasure the time I get to spend in their delightful company.
We are all eagerly awaiting their new adaption of Little House on the Prairie which premieres on Netflix July 9th.
